PIPA Professional Awards 2019

Designed to recognise outstanding achievements of pharmacovigilance and medical information professionals within the industry, we are looking for nominations for individuals who have demonstrated excellence in their area of work. Nominees must be PIPA members.

 

Entries are open for the following categories:

  • Best PV / MI Newcomer (0-2 years)
  • Best PV / MI Professional (2-5 years)
  • Best PV / MI Senior Professional (5+ years)
  • Best contributor to PIPA
  • University of Hertfordshire award and honorary membership(s) 

Each of the winners will receive an engraved award in recognition of their achievement. The award winners will be announced at this year's PIPA Conference on 2nd October 2019, and all of the nominees and winners will be recognised on the PIPA website and in the post-conference edition of PIPELINE.

So why don't you seize this opportunity to recognize your colleague(s) and share how they demonstrate excellence in their field? Please send your entries by 1st August 2019.

The entry process is simple:

  • individuals can enter the competition directly if their entry is approved by their company
  • companies can nominate individuals
  • OR individuals can nominate colleagues, but nominees must have company approval before their entry will be accepted.

The Competition

On entering the competition, you (or the person who nominated you) will be asked to submit a testimonial explaining why you have been nominated for a PIPA award. 

Based on the testimonial, each nominee will be given a specific scenario which they will need to write about and return to the judging panel by Wednesday 4th September.

The judging panel will then use their professional judgement to determine the winner of each category.

ALL NOMINEES MUST BE AVAILABLE TO ATTEND CONFERENCE, AND THE EVENING DINNER EVENT, ON TUESDAY 2ND OCTOBER WHEN THE WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED.
