Conference Programme
Due to popular request the successful two day format continues. Following your very positive feedback last year, again we have listened and pulled out all the stops to include subject matter that aims to embrace and enhance the skill sets of our entire membership. Administrators, Advisors, Scientists, and Managers from both our Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information membership streams, will all find topics to stimulate the most enquiring of minds.
Along with task related industry updates, our main scientific sessions include topics such as:
- Preparing for the imminent Global Clinical Harmonisation programme
- European rationalisation of phamacovigilance
- Updates in BROMI and DDPS
- Improving quality in copy approval activities
Workshops this year include:
- Mastering negotiation techniques
- Effective risk management planning
- Dispelling myths in the clarification of copyright and data protection guidelines
- Signal detection
- Developing administrators

As in recent years, delegates are required to book their own accommodation with the hotel on 01285 864000. Due to the central location, to avoid unnecessary costs to PIPA, your non-profit making organisation, there are only 90 rooms available at the preferential conference rate, and once these are taken rooms will be charged at the hotel standard accommodation rate. Early booking is advised to take advantage of this offer.*
