Conference
Every year PIPA holds a conference in order to allow members and non-members to network and exchange ideas.
With a new format introduced in 2007, the scientific programme now runs over two full days (Monday morning - Tuesday afternoon) and comprises a series of presentations, exhibitions and half-day workshops intended to provide comprehensive information on "hot topics" and practice skills relevant to the PIPA membership.
The workshop sessions offer many opportunities for the exchange of ideas and experience between participants and speakers, and are designed to enhance the skills required in the fields of pharmacovigilance, pharmaceutical information services and in the management of projects and people in the work-place.
The conference is not just work; there is a great social side and there is a chance to participate in the PIPA Impact Awards.

PIPA recognise that the conference is a great networking opportunity. To keep costs to a minimum PIPA have a rolling contract with De Vere Hotels up until and including 2009:
