Training Group

The aims of the Training Group are to:

• Keep the training needs of the PIPA membership under review
• Establish competency frameworks for information and pharmacovigilance professionals in the pharmaceutical industry
• Identify and publicise suitable training offered by external providers
• Maintain a link between PIPA and providers of relevant postgraduate courses

A major objective of the Training Group has been to establish and implement a training strategy for PIPA in line with members’ needs. Therefore, the PIPA Training Group has developed a flexible modular programme to allow members to choose the training best suited to their own career development.
