The Standards Group is responsible for promoting and reviewing the ABPI/PIPA UK Guidelines on Standards for Medical Information Departments and the UK Standards in Pharmacovigilance.
Terms of Reference
The terms of reference of the Standards Group:
- To establish, maintain and publicise guidelines on standards of service provided by information and pharmacovigilance departments within the pharmaceutical industry.
- To perform benchmarking surveys of the industry information services
- To feedback outcomes of these surveys to PIPA members.
Group Members represent a broad spectrum of companies within the pharmaceutical industry plus representatives from UKMI and an independent consultant (for anonymity when administering, collating and analysing survey results).
