PIPA Online Training

PIPA Online Training Programme

In recognition of the requirement for high quality online medical information and pharmacovigilance training courses, PIPA has introduced a range of such courses. Further courses are continually being developed by industry experts, and the courses on offer will be added to regularly.

We would be delighted to hear from you should you like to see a particular course on offer. Please share this with us via training@pipaonline.org.

Booking on an online course

As a new online course is launched, it is added to the Events section of the PIPA website, and you will be able to book the course via the website like any other event.

Once your payment has been received and processed (which will be immediate if you pay online via WorldPay), you will have access to the course via the PIPA online training platform, SimplyLearn:

Please click here to login to the online training platform

Your login details are the email address you have registered with PIPA, along with your normal PIPA password.  Once logged in, the course(s) you have subscribed to will then be available for you to work through.

Cost

Pricing for the online courses will be variable depending on the length and content of each course.

As a not-for-profit association, PIPA can only make this course available to members. However non-members may easily access the course by becoming a ‘member for a month’ for a £15.00 supplement (£18.00 for overseas members) This fee provides you with temporary PIPA membership for the month that you are completing the course.  You can apply for membership here.

To ensure immediate access to training courses, and to reduce administrative costs, we would prefer delegates to book and pay for online courses, and member for a month, via WorldPay. If you are unable to pay by WorldPay and require PIPA to raise an invoice, then there will be an additional £15 fee  to cover the extra administrative costs incurred. For further information regarding this, please contact Sharon Braithwaite via sharon.braithwaite@pipaonline.org.

Once you have subscribed to a course, your user licence grants you up to a year to start the course but once started, you are required to complete the course within one month.
